Does HoneyBook Have Client Galleries?
Yes. HoneyBook now builds client galleries into the same account where clients inquire, sign and pay. A studio happy with them should stay. A separate gallery earns its place only in three specific cases.

Yes, HoneyBook has client galleries of its own.
HoneyBook's page for photographers says you can send a fully branded gallery from the same place clients inquired, signed and paid.
Its help centre documents the feature in detail, in an article updated the week of 18 September 2026.
Those galleries hold photos and video, and they support client favourites, several download sizes, a password, a watermark and an expiry date.
HoneyBook also keeps a separate integration with Pic-Time, a third-party gallery host, for studios that prefer it.
So the honest answer to the question behind the question is this. If you run your studio on HoneyBook and its galleries do what you need, you do not need another gallery tool. This page sets out what HoneyBook galleries include, and the three cases where a separate gallery such as clientgallery.io still makes sense.
What HoneyBook galleries include

Plans are named, not priced. HoneyBook's pricing page returned inconsistent monthly figures on the day this page was written, so no price is quoted here. Check it yourself before you decide.

The help article does not mention comments on photos, print sales, a custom domain, a limit on photos per gallery, or Lightroom. This page does not claim HoneyBook lacks those things. It only reports that the article does not describe them.
HoneyBook galleries and the Pic-Time integration
HoneyBook runs two gallery routes side by side.
The first is the native Galleries feature described above.
The second is an integration with Pic-Time, which HoneyBook's glossary describes as a third-party tool you can use to host your images.
HoneyBook's gallery article says the two are separate features and can be used alongside each other, and that the Pic-Time integration keeps working as before.
HoneyBook's help centre states (article dated 24 October 2024) that the integration can create a Pic-Time gallery automatically when a client makes a first payment, and that this does not apply to earlier payments. The same article says galleries can be shared to the client's portal and activity feed, and that up to five Pic-Time galleries can be connected to one HoneyBook project.
HoneyBook's integrations help collection lists a Pic-Time integration and no other gallery platform. If you use another gallery host next to HoneyBook, you paste its link into the project yourself.
Who should stay with HoneyBook galleries
A studio already on HoneyBook Essentials or Premium can simply use the galleries it has.
On those plans, HoneyBook states that its branding is removed from galleries and that storage is unlimited. Clients already get favourites, original-size downloads and a password. The gallery sits in the same account as the contract and the invoice, which is the reason HoneyBook built it.
Stay with HoneyBook galleries if any of these is true.
- You want one login for inquiries, contracts, invoices, payments and delivery.
- You deliver video as well as photos. HoneyBook galleries hold both, and clientgallery.io does not host master video.
- You want the gallery to disappear on a set date. HoneyBook has an expiry setting, and clientgallery.io galleries do not expire on a date.
- You want HoneyBook to keep your original files. It offers an original download size, while clientgallery.io hosts compressed proofs.
- You watermark proofs as part of how you sell.
- Your favourites are read in HoneyBook and then copied into your editor by hand, and that step does not bother you.
Adding a second gallery tool to a studio that is happy with the first one is just another bill and another login.
When a separate gallery still earns its place
There are three cases where a dedicated gallery such as clientgallery.io does something HoneyBook's documentation does not describe.
1. The client's picks need to land in Lightroom Classic
HoneyBook's gallery article and its photographers page do not mention Lightroom. Favourites appear in the Activity tab, so getting them into your catalog means reading them there and finding each file yourself.
clientgallery.io has a two-way Lightroom Classic plugin. It publishes proofs straight from the catalog, and after the client sends picks, one command brings them back as star ratings, a Pick flag on loved frames, the client's colour labels when labels are on for that gallery, and a collection. 2. You want galleries that never expire
HoneyBook lets you set an expiry date, after which the gallery is unpublished. That is useful when a deadline is part of the sale.
clientgallery.io galleries have no expiry date at all. They stay online for as long as the account exists. The only thing on a clock is the full-resolution ZIP, which stays live for 3 days per handoff and can be uploaded again at any time.
3. You want the gallery host priced apart from your CRM
HoneyBook galleries come with a HoneyBook plan, and the plan you are on decides the storage and whether its branding shows.
clientgallery.io is one plan at 10 $ a month or 100 $ a year. It covers unlimited galleries, photos and clients under fair use, with no platform branding on client-facing pages. That suits a studio that runs its bookings somewhere other than HoneyBook, or that wants delivery to stay put if it ever changes CRM.

Using both together
Some studios keep HoneyBook for the business side and use a separate gallery for delivery.
clientgallery.io has no HoneyBook integration. The practical setup is to publish the gallery from Lightroom Classic, then paste its link into the HoneyBook project or the delivery message.
The client opens the link with no account, picks, and downloads. The picks come back to the studio and, through the plugin, into the catalog.
