Studio Ninja Client Galleries: The Answer Is No

Studio Ninja does not host, proof or deliver photos. Its own help centre says so. If you run your studio on Studio Ninja, the gallery is a second product you choose yourself.

Updated September 2026

Studio Ninja has no client galleries of its own.

That is not a reading between the lines. It is the answer Studio Ninja publishes itself.

Its help centre carries an article titled "Does Studio Ninja offer a gallery for selling photos online?", updated 1 May 2026, and the answer there is no. Studio Ninja states that it is "primarily a client and shoot management tool specifically designed for photographers".

The Client Portal article, updated 16 October 2025, says the same thing from the other direction: "The fifth tab called Galleries is added if you integrate with Pic-Time or ShootProof."

So the real question behind the search is not whether Studio Ninja has galleries. It is which gallery you put next to it. This page answers that from Studio Ninja's own documentation, read on 23 September 2026, and is equally plain about where clientgallery.io does and does not fit.

What Studio Ninja says about galleries

Studio Ninja is a customer relationship manager for photographers. It holds leads, jobs, quotes, contracts, questionnaires, invoices and payments, plus a calendar, workflows and a mobile app.

Nothing in that list stores a photo for a client to look at.

The structure of the help centre makes the point on its own. The Ninja Academy help centre has ten collections: New to Studio Ninja, Clients, Jobs, Calendar, Payments and Invoicing, Workflows, Contracts, Integrations, Frequently Asked Questions, and the Studio Ninja Mobile App. There is no Galleries collection.

Every gallery article in that help centre is an integration article, the Client Portal article, or the FAQ that answers no. Not one describes a gallery Studio Ninja hosts.

Ownership has changed, which sometimes confuses this question. Studio Ninja states that it is "now proudly part of the Captura family" and that Captura is the new name for what was formerly ImageQuix. That is a corporate relationship. It does not put a gallery inside the Studio Ninja product, and no help article claims it does.

If a review site told you Studio Ninja delivers photos, check that against the article linked in Sources below. The vendor is the source that matters here.

What the Galleries tab in the Client Portal actually is

Studio Ninja has a Client Portal, a page your client logs into. By default it has five tabs: Home, Quote, Contract, Questionnaire and Invoice.

Studio Ninja states that a Galleries tab is added only if you integrate with Pic-Time or ShootProof, and that "the 'View gallery' button will redirect your clients to their linked Pic-Time or ShootProof gallery".

Read that carefully, because it decides what you are buying. The tab is a signpost. The photos live on Pic-Time or on ShootProof. The client is sent there.

The two integrations are documented separately and do roughly the same job. Studio Ninja says each one lets you "create new galleries or link existing galleries to your Studio Ninja jobs", and that jobs with a linked gallery show the Galleries page inside the Client Portal.

The Pic-Time article, updated 19 May 2026, adds two details worth knowing before you commit. Up to ten galleries can be linked to one job. And when an order is placed through Pic-Time, that order appears in the Invoice box of the job profile under the Pic-Time section, except that an order carrying multiple tax rates "will be imported as two separate invoices in Studio Ninja".

The ShootProof article, dated 12 August 2025, describes the create-or-link behaviour and the portal page, and does not describe an order import.

Which gallery platforms Studio Ninja documents

The Integrations collection in Studio Ninja's help centre holds six articles. This is the whole documented list as of 23 September 2026.

IntegrationWhat Studio Ninja documents
Pic-TimeCreate or link galleries per job, Galleries page in the Client Portal, Pic-Time orders imported to the job's Invoice box, up to 10 galleries per job
ShootProofCreate or link galleries per job, Galleries page in the Client Portal
ProSelectImport orders
Fundy DesignerListed in the Integrations collection
QuickBooksListed, noted as small business packages only
XeroListed in the Integrations collection

Two gallery platforms, then. Pic-Time and ShootProof.

Pixieset and CloudSpot are not in that list. Neither is clientgallery.io. If you are shortlisting on the strength of a Studio Ninja integration, those three are out, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise.

If you want a Galleries tab in the portal, the answer is Pic-Time or ShootProof

This is the part most comparison pages skip, so take it straight.

If what you want is a Galleries tab that appears inside the Studio Ninja Client Portal, with a View gallery button your client clicks without leaving the portal, then Pic-Time or ShootProof is what does that today. Nothing else in Studio Ninja's documentation produces that tab.

If you sell prints through Pic-Time and want those orders to land in the job's Invoice box, that is a real integration doing real work, and it is a good reason to stay where you are.

clientgallery.io has no integration with Studio Ninja. There is no API connection, no automatic sync, no tab, and no order import. Adding a second tool always costs something, and if the portal tab is the thing you actually want, the second tool is the wrong answer.

A gallery link is a URL, which is why an integration is a convenience and not a requirement

Here is the practical shape of the pairing when the gallery is not integrated.

Your customer relationship manager keeps the lead, the quote, the contract, the questionnaire, the invoice and the payment record. Your gallery keeps the proofs, the client's picks and the final handoff. The join between them is one link that you paste into the job, the portal message, or the delivery email you were sending anyway.

That paste is the entire cost of not having an integration. It is a few seconds per job. Weigh it honestly against what it buys, and decide for yourself.

What it buys on clientgallery.io: galleries on your own subdomain with no platform branding anywhere a client can see, a password on each gallery, star and love picks with a "send my picks" step that locks the selection, one-click download of the whole gallery or any single photo with no client account, galleries that never expire while the account exists, sub-galleries as a studio-side way to organise a long shoot into sections with a jump-to bar at the top of the client's page, Face Search that runs entirely in the guest's browser and never uploads the selfie, and account-wide analytics covering visits, unique visitors, photo views, favourites, picks sent, ZIP downloads, shares and time spent.

And the part a Studio Ninja user tends to care about most: a two-way Lightroom Classic plugin. It publishes proofs from the catalog, and when the client sends picks it writes them back as star ratings, a Pick flag on loved frames, the client's colour labels when labels are on, and a collection. The steps are in the guide to getting client picks back into Lightroom. It works with Lightroom Classic, not the cloud Lightroom app.

What clientgallery.io costs, and where it stops

One plan. 10 $ a month or 100 $ a year. Unlimited galleries, photos and clients under fair use.

Fair use has figures, and they belong on the page rather than in a support article you find later. A gallery holds up to 1,000 photos. A paid account holds 250 GB of proofs, which runs to hundreds of thousands of images because proofs are compressed in the browser before they are hosted. A free account holds 5 GB.

Full-resolution delivery is separate and paid. You upload a full-resolution ZIP for a gallery, it stays live for 3 days per handoff, you can upload it again whenever the client needs it, and an account holds 100 GB of standing ZIPs. Proofs are sized for fast viewing. The ZIP is the file the client keeps.

Where it stops, so you are not surprised later:

  • No print store and no commissions. If print sales through the gallery are part of your revenue, Pic-Time or ShootProof next to Studio Ninja is the better fit.
  • JPEG photos only. No RAW warehousing, no master video. That is a large part of why the price is flat.
  • No seat model at all. There are no multi-user accounts, no roles and no per-assistant logins. A two-person studio shares one account.
  • No integration with Studio Ninja, as said above. You paste a link.
  • Analytics are account-wide, not per gallery. The only per-gallery signal is an opened indicator on each gallery tile in the studio, with All, Seen by client and Not opened yet filters.

If you are weighing the bundled-versus-separate question more broadly, the Sprout Studio alternative page covers a suite that does include galleries, and the HoneyBook galleries answer covers a customer relationship manager that shipped its own.

Every Studio Ninja fact and quote on this page comes from Studio Ninja's own help centre, read on 23 September 2026. Each article carries its own update date, given below.

No Studio Ninja price, plan name, storage figure, client limit or seat count appears on this page. Every page of the studioninja.co marketing site, including its pricing page, returned truncated content on 23 September 2026 and could not be read, so none of it was verifiable and all of it was left out.

Frequently asked

Does Studio Ninja have client galleries?

No. Studio Ninja's help article "Does Studio Ninja offer a gallery for selling photos online?", updated 1 May 2026, answers no and states that Studio Ninja is primarily a client and shoot management tool specifically designed for photographers. Its help centre has no Galleries collection.

What is the Galleries tab in the Studio Ninja client portal?

It is a link out, not a gallery. Studio Ninja states that the fifth tab called Galleries is added if you integrate with Pic-Time or ShootProof, and that the View gallery button redirects clients to their linked Pic-Time or ShootProof gallery. The default portal tabs are Home, Quote, Contract, Questionnaire and Invoice.

Which gallery platforms does Studio Ninja integrate with?

Pic-Time and ShootProof. Studio Ninja's Integrations collection documents six integrations in total: Pic-Time, ProSelect, Fundy Designer, QuickBooks, Xero and ShootProof. Pixieset and CloudSpot are not in that documented list.

Does clientgallery.io integrate with Studio Ninja?

No. clientgallery.io is not in Studio Ninja's documented integration list, and there is no API connection, automatic sync, portal tab or order import. A gallery link is a URL, so you paste it into the Studio Ninja job or the message you were sending anyway.

Can Studio Ninja deliver photos to a client?

Not on its own. Studio Ninja holds leads, jobs, quotes, contracts, questionnaires, invoices and payments. The photos live on whichever gallery platform you choose, and Studio Ninja links to them from the job and the client portal when you use Pic-Time or ShootProof.

What does clientgallery.io cost next to Studio Ninja?

One plan at 10 $ a month or 100 $ a year, with unlimited galleries, photos and clients under fair use. Fair use is 1,000 photos per gallery and 250 GB of proofs per paid account, with 5 GB on a free account. Full-resolution delivery is a separate paid ZIP per gallery, live 3 days per handoff and re-uploadable, with 100 GB of standing ZIPs per account.

If two of us run the studio, do we each need an account?

No, and there is no seat model to buy. clientgallery.io has no multi-user accounts, no roles and no per-assistant logins. A two-person studio shares one account at the same 10 $ a month.

Your client galleries, under your name

Branded galleries, client selections and a Lightroom Classic workflow. Start with your first gallery, then compare the current plan. Full-resolution delivery is a separate handoff with its own limits and conditions.
