The complete decision guide
Commercial Photo Proofing Workflows: From Product ID to Approval
Connect each selected photograph to its product, intended use and final retouch instructions.
Start here
Choose the right starting point
Commercial selections must be traceable. Similar products, multiple stakeholders and revised packaging make filenames and a decision owner essential. The gallery should help the team identify the exact frame and the requested change without relying on scattered messages.
Start with a naming convention and a small pilot set. Ask the receiving team to match images to its own product or project records. Resolve contradictory crop or retouch requests before commissioning another pass, then check the final files against the selected set.
Three approved views per product
Final count = products × 3 approved views. Alternate crops and revisions are additional deliverables. These are illustrative calculations, not measured customer results or plan limits.
Your evaluation
Turn the trial into a decision
Use the guides below to create an acceptance record for the work you do. Mark each requirement as essential, optional or outside the scope of the service. Test the essential items with your own files before moving an active client project.
Keep a written result for both a successful handoff and a failed one. If an important step needs another tool or a manual process, include that work in the comparison. Choose a paid plan when the verified workflow and current allowances fit your workload.

Where clientgallery.io fits
ClientGallery can organize proofs and collect image-specific client feedback. Keep product data, rights records and specialist color approval in the responsible systems. A gallery decision does not automatically certify a product claim or a reproduction standard.
